Kaboom Went the Tree

Okay, y’all have to understand we {{dearly}} love our little nieces and nephew, and their funny antics add a sparkle to life. The almost two-year-olds sometimes get stuck on something, meaning events are a big deal and the story is often repeated. For example, Joshua watched the last tree being cut down, and his big thing was talking about the tree going “kaboom.”

Well, since this was such a big hit with Joshua, Dad had a great idea for him to help with another tree we needed to take down.

Tuesday, late afternoon, all the Maxwell grandchildren gathered to watch. Notice the progression in the pictures, and maybe you’ll figure out how we did it.

Love,
Sarah

Joshua is holding thin twine for his rope to pull the tree over in the right direction. Makes a little guy feel real powerful!

The girls are taking a "selfie." If there are more little nieces to add to the mix, I think Anna's going to need an arm extender to fit them all in.

“Who is among you that feareth the LORD,
that obeyeth the voice of his servant,
that walketh in darkness, and hath no light?
let him trust in the name of the LORD,
and stay upon his God.”
