Happy 8th Anniversary to my brother, Christopher, and his sweet wife, Anna Marie! It’s exciting to see the Lord’s blessing upon their lives over these past 8 years. Their glowing family is proof enough (see above 🙂 ).
I’d love to hear from some of our readers who have been following their journey since their courtship and marriage 8 years ago.
“Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127:5
13 years ago today you became husband and wife. 13 years ago today you vowed to love each other in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad times.
Four and a half years of infertility followed, then four girls, one boy, and two little ones (lost through miscarriage) later, your empty arms have been filled–what an amazing journey you’ve been on! Through the intense pain of losing your first-born daughter, to roller-coaster high-risk pregnancies, you’ve truly weathered the hard times in life. Yet through pain and sorrow, God has abundantly given joy. Happy giggles and laughter fill your home, the nursery is occupied, and enthusiasm abounds. Added to that is the eternal joy of seeing Abigail and Bethany accept Jesus as their Savior. You’ve been blessed.
We are grateful for your love for Jesus, your desire to raise children who will be ambassadors for Him, and your hearts for each other.
Happy Birthday to a most amazing mom! We love you so much and are very grateful the Lord gave you to us. What a special way to celebrate with all your family in the mountains today. Little known facts about Mom:

Happy 40th Anniversary also to Dad and Mom! God has been gracious and merciful to you both. We praise the Lord for giving us such godly, faithful parents! Little known facts about Dad and Mom:
They were only going to have 3 children (Sarah being the last).
They weren’t saved until they’d been married a few years.
In their earlier years, they loved to run. Dad has run marathons and Mom ran some other races. Now, they enjoy hiking ;).
They make a wonderful husband/wife writing team and spend many hours working together on writing projects.
Happy birthday, Mom!
