Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd, our country votes.
We want to encourage you to vote for life. We are image-bearers created in God’s image, and abortion destroys that. Some may have the excuse not to vote for a candidate because of {xyz reason}.
But, please, take a moment to consider this most critical issue: LIFE. Which candidate supports life? It is obvious. As Christians, we are called to love our neighbor. Matthew 22:39: And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The unborn child, growing inside her mother, is certainly our neighbor and our most helpless one too. Proverbs 31:8: Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
May we vote boldly, and may we stand for life.
This election is extremely important to the future of our children and grandchildren. Please, don’t allow other reasons to keep you from voting for the candidate who has boldly stood for life.
Sarah
PS: We will not be approving any comments that are meant to be argumentative or unkind. This is a call to action to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
“Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God.
Honour the king” (1 Peter 2:17).
Amen. I voted for and stand for life.
Amen Sarah.
We are praying for your nation, so important all Christians vote.
Sending our love to you all

Thanks, Claire! I am blessed by your comments.
Love,
Sarah
Thank you for this post. I have repeatedly said throughout this election that “ I don’t vote for personality but for policy”.
You’re welcome! 🙂
Thank you so much for this post! I appreciate your message and encouraging words for all Christians to take a stand for Life.
It is so important. I wish more people would see how valuable their vote is! 🙂
Thank you!! God bless you.
Blessings!
Amen!!
Amen Sarah! We ‘voted for life’ last week (we could vote early in Virginia). Praying for the outcome and for peace no matter who is elected. It is so good to rest in God’s sovereignty! There is no need to fear, He is in control and no matter who wins the election, He is Lord and He is good!
Proverbs 21:1
The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD;
He turns it wherever He wishes.
Yay! Thanks for sharing! We advance voted as well.
I agree that it is a blessing to be able to rest in the Lord and to know that He is the One we fear! “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding” (Job 28:28).
We are standing faithful in prayer with you all as we declare Proverbs 14:34. To God be the Glory! Love to you and your family!
Amen!
Hi Sarah,
Thank you for standing resolutely and sharing the truth! We are praying for the future of our nation and the many unborn, as well, and thus for this election.
Prayer is so key! Thank you for praying!
Its so important to stand for Jesus in all areas – thank you for your witness! You have helped our family in so many ways. Praying for our country.
I am praying for our country today too!
I can’t imagine voting for a candidate who is not firmly pro-life, it’s my most important deciding factor. I voted early for Life in all elections, both national and local.
Love your comment, Marianne! Amen to voting for LIFE!
We too are watching your elections with interest! Especially after having had our own elections here last month, along with two referendums – sadly, it looks like the “End of Life Choice Act 2019” will go through here. The abortion law here went through earlier in the year – during our lock-down(!).
2 Tim.3 comes to mind quite a bit these days – I’m so thankful that my hope and security is in God.
Joyanne,
Isn’t it sad when life is looked at as a choice? May we value the life of the unborn and stand for what is right!
Yes- we voted for life! Psalm 1
I’m curious to know if any election in history has had this much prayer beforehand. Only God knows! Praying, praying, praying for our country and praying for Christians to rise up with truth and love no matter who wins!
Amen! I know. It does feel like this is a very critical election. Praying here too!
Thanks for the reminder that voting for LIFE is the most important. We feel the same way.
We were thankful for another voter in the form of a friends daughter who turned 18 just in time to vote. She is voting for life as well. It is so encouraging to me to see the younger generation do so.
Thanks again!
It is a blessing when young people will see the value of life and vote too!
Praying for your country, Sarah! And praying for hearts to feel a need to choose a leader who will defend life, freedom of religion, freedom of speech among so other things! It’s so real that this isn’t about which personality you like and don’t like, but rather choosing someone who will defend rights and freedom and fear God! Will continue to pray!
Your neighbors to the north ?
Thank you, Kendra! Yes, what you said is so true!
As a German it is really interesting watching the U.S. election. In our country nobody (meaning no political party and no mainstream newspaper) is for life. That’s one of the reasons our media is extremely biased when reporting about the American election. And that’s also one of the reasons I (and many conservative christians in our country) never vote.
Bless you, Simone. Thanks for sharing. I imagine your media is biased, although our media is pretty biased here too. Praying!
It has been interesting to read the comments from those outside the USA. I have been wondering how other countries are viewing us and this election. PLEASE continue to pray for us!!! As Kendra said, I feel all our freedoms are on the line!!! I have cried so much over the state of my country. For God to spare us and have mercy on us. But I also fear, how long will He tolerate us as their “blood cries out to Him”??
Simone, it took me a moment to understand what you were saying about not voting. Then I realized, you must not have anyone worth voting for!!! That it would be against your Christian values to vote for any of them!!! Very sad!! 🙁
Karen, for us, in turn, it sometimes feels strange how political American christians are. Every country, culture and history is so different…
Media: The U.S. election is in the headlines for days now in our German newspapers. So you can see, we are very excited about the outcome. They also predicted the victory of the Democrats for weeks (I don’t know how they could be so sure… more of a wish I think…).
“Pro choice”: Here in Europe “Pro life” is not an option or a serious opinion. It is more: How far can we go? The Netherlands now allow euthanasia for children and it is only a matter of time when we will have those laws too.
Hebrews 10:25 …let us encourage one another– and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
HE is coming soon!
Thanks for your response Simone!! Looks like the media won!! In the USA, it seems whatever the media promotes- that is the outcome!
Makes me sick on my stomach that you said the Netherlands approves of euthanasia for children!!!!!! I did not know that.
One day Jesus will rule this world, but until then, we must live under Satan’s strong influence. Yes, let us encourage each other to live for the Lord! This is not our home or our end!! We are passing through! Thank the Lord we have so much to look forward to!!!
Psalm 82:3
“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.”
Great verse!
Thanks so much for sharing this post. I unashamedly stand for LIFE! Thank you for your boldness for Christ. Such an encouragement.
My pleasure. As I was thinking through Monday’s post, I felt the Lord laid that on my heart.
I agree. As Christians, our candidate choice is fairly simple. Vote for whichever one is most closely aligned with the Bible.
Yes!
GO TRUMP!!!!!!!!
I am both praying for and saddened by this election. How can someone who doesn’t even remember what the Constitution says swear on the Bible that he will defend and uphold it? How can people vote for a woman ravenous for abortion and socialism?
Sadly, it is the state of our country!
Indeed! Honesty and integrity are dying.
Thanks for the encouragement in voting pro-life. This was the first time I got to vote in a presidential election and it was more difficult than I anticipated. Coming from an immigrant family, it has been difficult to explain to my family that as Christians, we must vote for the pro-life candidate even if it feels that he is not as supportive of all immigrants as the other candidate. It seems that they see a vote for the pro-life candidate as a vote against immigrants rather than as a vote for life. It has been hard hearing their comments, and although they don’t say them towards me, they still hurt. But thank you for this, it has helped me a lot :).
Lupe,
Thank you for your comment! Bless you for voting pro-life. We are made in God’s image, and life is precious! You were courageous!
Amen to this! Pro life is really the only thing to vote for that matters.
