Deadline Met, Sarah’s Book Goes to Press

My next title, soon to be revealed, is now at the printer! The deadline I’d set this summer for press was October 26th, and the print-ready files were finished Saturday afternoon, the 24th. God has been so gracious to me, and I’m thankful to be at this point. The book will be in perfect time for the holiday season.

We’ll be finalizing a launch day with all the information soon. I can’t wait to tell you more about the story!

Here are a few comments from test readers:

“Thought-provoking, life-changing truths that touched us all. We were so engaged. We were cheering at parts and always anticipating what would come next. ‘Keep reading’ was heard again and again!” Krista, mom

“I rate this book 11 out of 10. That’s how good the book is!” Ezra, 13

Love,
Sarah

“In thy name shall they rejoice all the day:
and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted” (Psalm 89:16).

  1. We can’t wait to get a copy!!!! =) Totally unreasonable, as it is SUCH a lot of work, but have the secret wish you could write them faster =) Just love your books!

    1. Thank you! I really am hoping that the third one will be out next year! That’s what I am going for. They are a huge investment but so worth it.

  2. We just finished up the Moody series last night, our children were so disappointed they were over and asked to start the series over again!
I can’t wait to surprise them with your newest series for Christmas, we just love your books and are so grateful for wholesome books that we don’t have to worry about what may be snuck in there!

  3. I am so excited for your book to be coming out! I am going to be one of the first ones to order it! You have the most amazing God glorifying books, and I really enjoy reading them.

  4. Congratulations, Sarah! It sounds like a compelling story. As a 35-year-old, I’m obviously not the target audience, but that initial feedback makes me want to read. I hope you celebrate your hard work in all of your favorite ways 🙂 Celebrating your accomplishment from afar over here!

    1. Thanks, Katie! I still enjoyed reading it even though I’d read it so many times. 🙂 After pushing hard, it’s always an adjustment to refocus! But I love deadlines as they help me to press forward even more. Now to catch up and also prepare for the launch. I was going to go on a trip next month, but due to my workout injury, I haven’t fully recovered, so I decided that wasn’t a great idea at the moment. We’ll figure out ways to celebrate! 🙂

  5. Congratulations, Sarah! You inspire me to keep to my own deadlines. Hope you have a nice treat to celebrate! I’m sure you have your own ideas, but my favorite “met-my-deadline” treat is a fancy coffee/latte drink 🙂 🙂 🙂

    1. Thanks, M! I have my own espresso machine so I often make mine, but I’m going to get one out with my grandma this afternoon. 🙂 But when the books arrive in house, we’ll definitely plan a celebration. Not sure yet what but we will! So grateful for God’s grace!

  6. Great job, Sarah!! So, so happy for you and thankful to God for orchestrating getting this project to this point! We LOVE your books and are so blessed that you continue to keep writing. Time to celebrate!

  7. It’s an exciting time for you and must be a good feeling. I know it will be a real blessing to your readers when it’s released. Congratulations to you, Sarah!

    1. Yes, it’s kinda surreal to have my part done. Saturday evening, I had a little time and thought, wow, I can organize in my room some and do that sort of thing. I have plenty on my plate still, but it’s nice to have a breather!

  8. Congratulations!!! I can’t wait for your book to be out! We’ve been incredibly blessed by your books!!! My kids LOVE them!!!!
