Happy Birthday, Mary!

Mary Maxwell

Happy Birthday, Mary! We’re so grateful for the testimony you are of serving the Lord Jesus and loving those around you.

Mary faithfully gave of her time for the months Anna Marie was gone. She took the commitment seriously and gave up other things to help.

Mary is calm and poised. She finds joy in the small things. Mary’s sparkle for life is beautiful. We love her so much!

Happy Birthday! Although you aren’t in the mountains this year, we’ll still have a special day celebrating YOU!

Love,
Sarah for the rest

Whether it’s caroling with the kids from Bible Club.
Or crafts.
Or serving at home.
Or making special memories.
Caring for her Bible Club friends.
Or loving her nieces and nephews.
And her family.

“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever
shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it”
(Mark 8:35).

  1. Happy birthday, Mary! (Today is my younger sister’s birthday as well! I had no idea you shared one.) I hope this is an extra wonderful year for you, filled with adventure, opportunity, and all of the things you like best!

  2. A happy and blessed birthday to you, Mary!

Have you been able to stay in touch with your Bible Club kids? If you haven’t already done so, maybe you could meet via Zoom or send each child one of your wonderful home made cards.

    1. That’s very kind, Jennifer! Thanks for asking! Yes, we’ve been able to stay in contact with our kids even though the apartments haven’t let us come back for our consist time. My favorite way to spend time with them is to go and be with them at various times. They’ve been very bored without school. Also, in July, they came to our church’s VBS!

      1. Would you guys do a post about your VBS sometime? Or did you, and I missed it? We had one here in Nepean, Ontario. It was more complicated, but I was really excited as I got to be a class helper.

  3. Happy birthday Mary,
Do you’ll go to church with other members of the community, or do you still worship only with the elderly?
It’s lovely to see you reaching out to people through the Bible club.

  4. Happy Birthday Mary! It’s so helpful to see little glimpses into your life. May God bless you this year and always.
