Anna Marie Coming Home Tomorrow!

Y’all, really good news from Anna Marie this afternoon! Love, Sarah

It’s official: We are flying home tomorrow! Praising the Lord!

After a bit of a roller coaster with blood levels, and a meeting with our oncologist, I am getting my final treatment here at the cancer center. It worked out to actually be better to fly immediately after chemo rather than Friday after my blood levels have a chance to drop further from treatment; so tomorrow morning, my parents are taking my sister Sarah, Simon Peter, and me to the airport early tomorrow morning for our 6:30 flight and we should be reunited with everyone by early afternoon! I’m so excited and grateful, not just to be heading home, but that this phase of treatment is concluded.

My immune system is definitely low, and I’ve still been dealing with nosebleeds. So prayer requests would be for health protection and no nosebleeds during travel!

Thank you so much for all of the amazing prayer support!

With joy,
Anna Marie

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD,
and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning,
and thy faithfulness every night” (Psalm 92:1-2).

  1. I was just reading on Friday about the use of yarrow for blood normalizing!
In particular for nosebleeds it said to bruise some yarrow leaves in your fingers/hands and make a wad of the leaves and put it in the nose to stop the bleeding.
Also a yarrow tea to help strengthen and tone blood vessels.

May your journey be safe and joyous!

    1. I can attest to yarrow poultice working well to stop bleeding. I cut myself with a box cutter when we were moving once and my daughter made me a yarrow poultice and the bleeding stopped, I was able to bandage my finger and go on packing up.

  2. Praise indeed to our Faithful God!!!!

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

    Praying for the things requested.

  4. Praise the Lord!! Have been praying for this nonstop all week! Rejoicing with you, and praying for protection on the way home as well as full recovery to your health once back in Kansas. Keep on encouraging so many people with your joy and trust in God; it is truly inspirational! You will probably never know this side of heaven how many people you’re encouraging and guiding by your example! “Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.” Exodus 19:4

  9. Oh, praise the Lord! I didn’t see this post until just now (Tuesday morning) so I was praying very early this morning that she would be able to have the last treatment today as was the plan, not even realizing yet that she already got it yesterday and was probably awake and getting ready to leave for the airport when I was praying. I’m so happy that she will finally be home today and I’ll be thinking of the joyful reunion with her children later today! Such great news. Blessings to all of you!

  10. Praise be to His name! We will continue praying for you and your family. Your journey has been an example of Godliness to many.

  11. Praise the Lord! Praying also that the adjustments you face when you come home will go smoothly. Been there done that with a much shorter hospital stay. I’ve been very blessed by your sweet testimony. May the Lord continue to bless and bring a complete recovery.

  12. Praying for God to protect you, Simon Peter and Sarah from any viruses as you travel. Prayers for the family you leave behind and for a blessed reunion with the family you are traveling to.
