Y’all, we have a lot to catch up on! Some were surprised not to know Jesse was in a relationship. While our family is very public, for the sake of privacy for individual family members, on different relationships, we choose to keep it quiet based on preference. Jesse enjoyed an amazing courtship, and we’ll share more on that later.
Obviously planning a wedding during COVID-19 time held its interesting twists. Jesse and his new bride handled it beautifully. They knew the important key was their Christ-honoring, marriage union and having family there to witness it. The wedding was in a state where it was considered essential but still limited to a small number. Because of restrictions, they couldn’t have a reception.
Anyway, because Anna and Mary have been over at Christopher’s house so much to help with the kids, some of our last days together were very precious. I’ll share a glimpse into special times during these past few weeks.
Love,
Sarah

“Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and
keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall
serve him, and cleave unto him.”
(Deuteronomy 13:4)
Totally understandable to want to keep some things private. I don’t blame anyone for that, it was just such a surprise! =) Thankful everything went well… despite the current restrictions, etc!
Thanks. It’s wonderful to share with y’all now!
Oh my, reading this really made me feel emotional seeing Jesse with his boxes loaded into a truck, going out for his last walk with Anna & Mary, lunch with the family, and especially you all praying over him. That part was especially touching. What a wonderful, precious blessing to have grown up in such a family that has instilled these values into their children to help prepare them for wherever life takes them! I remember quite some time ago that Jesse had purchased a home, but from this post it seems like maybe he is moving out of state? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out more about it. I’m very happy for Jesse & Anna, and definitely look forward to hearing more of the story and seeing the wedding pictures!
I look forward to hearing more of how God brought the two of them together.
Besides Anna Marie, was the rest of ur family able to attend the wedding?
Wait…is Jesse just moving into the house he bought or is he moving from Kansas? The way you wrote it makes it sound like he’s leaving the area.
Yay for wedding posts! I’m really happy to hear that they were able to have some people present for their wedding. I’m sure it felt very special. Will Jesse and Anna be living close by like the other siblings? Looking forward to hearing more!
With everything that is going on these days, it is really lovely to see things like this!
Thank you for sharing.
Blessings to the new couple.
Congratulations to Jesse and his new wife! May God richly bless our marriage and your home.
Is Jesse moving far away or staying close by?
Congrats to the new married couple 🙂
I TOTALLY understand wanting to keep personal life-details private. I’m a very private person too, despite having to have a somewhat public presence professionally. I also know so many people who have had to change wedding plans in some way right now — either rescheduling for the future or having a much different type of ceremony than they were planning. It’s amazing to see how creative people are being and heartening to see moment of joy during challenging times. It certainly looks like they days leading up to the wedding were joyful! Thank you for sharing, and congratulations to the newlyweds!
I am greatly enjoying the wedding posts!!
Where did you get your camera strap, Sarah? I have been looking for a good, quality and pretty camera strap!
Madeline,
I’m glad you’re enjoying the posts! The strap was a gift, and it’s the brand Abie Straps. See this link.
Thanks! I will check them out!
