Spring is in the Air

One thing I’m grateful for this week is the change of seasons. Although it’s not officially spring, we have enjoyed a beautiful taste. Spring is a reminder of new life. God is so gracious to give our country mercy and to send rain on the just and on the unjust.

Warmer weather affords for some great outside time after family lunch on Sundays. In addition, Saturday project time can involve washing vehicles and cutting down a tree.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Love,
Sarah

This is a “follow-the-dog-and-hang-onto-the-leash” moment.
Benji and Ellie. I think she’s in a very firm “I’m-sitting-here-and-not-budging” mode.
I had to add in a few inside pictures. Look at all these smiles!
It takes a lot of tortillas to feed a crowd!
Baby snuggles (Simon Peter with Melanie)
We girls enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon walk and saw Nathan’s crew out doing kites in a field, so we stopped to see them.

“That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good,
and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Matthew 5:45

  1. Oh my Sarah, FYI Abby is taller than you! How does it happen!
I absolutely love kite flying on a beautiful day! Oh and love seeing littles with big work equipment on (gloves)!!
    Fun post

      1. When my nieces and younger cousins grew taller than me, I gave them each $10. I’m only 5’2, so most of them outgrew me by the time they were about 11 years old. 🙂

  2. Such happy faces brightened my day. I miss all my nieces and nephews it is such a joy to have sweet times with family. Ellie looks like she has settled into the perfect dog of a loving tribe of littles.

    1. Thanks. We enjoyed such amazing sunshine and warmer temperatures for awhile! Yes, Ellie is very well-loved by the littles, and she becomes quite excited when they come over.
