Update and Prayer Request for Anna Marie Maxwell

We want to thank you so much for praying for Anna Marie and also give you an update. They are currently working to get the surgery scheduled. As you probably know, pretty much all things medical take time—even when one is trying to work ahead and anticipate delays, etc. It’s looking like they’ll have another consult with a surgeon on Monday and will hopefully come away from that with a surgery date. Please pray that God will confirm His will and lead in this process.

and thy thoughts shall be established.”

  1. I am praying daily for her and will continue to do so. Please let her know that she is covered with the prayers of many and God is with her throughout every step of this journey.

  2. Prayers to Anna Marie, her husband and beautiful kids during this long process. May Gods will be done, may the medical team feel His touch and His ways be clear.

  3. Such a beautiful family! I am praying daily…truth be told, multiple times daily…for Anna Marie, Christopher, the children and all the extended family. As a cancer survivor, I understand the feelings that go along with diagnosis and then the patient (emotional!) waiting until surgery followed by the process of recovery.

God in His mercy gave me cancer so that I can in turn pray for and comfort others who must endure it as well (2 Cor. 1:3-7). God was so kind to me all throughout my illness and recovery and still is today as I live with its lasting effects on my life. I can honestly say I wouldn’t change a thing about my cancer journey because it has deepened my faith, drawn me closer to Him, given me untold opportunities to share my faith and a deep dependence upon Him and His word. He is good in everything He does and knowing that Anna Marie and family trust Him completely brings me great joy!

Much love to you all today and in the days ahead.

Is. 26:3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

  4. What is the surgery for exactly? I assume they are removing the lump? We are praying that it isn’t cancer. Thank you for the updates.

  5. Christopher and Anna Marie and Family,
You are in my prayers for the Lord to give you peace in your hearts and uphold you in your emotions. “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.” – Deuteronomy 33:27. Your children are precious and darling! Love their sweet smiles! I marvel at your sewing abilities to sew such beautiful matching outfits! Wonderful job, Anna Marie!
    Love in Christ,
    Colleen F.

  6. Thank you for the update.

My husband and I prayed in front of the lovely photo just now, with the two children who saw the update with us.

We have prayed for healing, for many years to come as a Mummy, for wisdom, for your children to have the perfect peace of Christ, and their guidance each through this journey, and for His glory through this situation.

The verse you chose is a wonderful – committing your way to the Lord and having thoughts established by Him, Praise God.

  7. Sending positive thoughts. That God will heal her and remove all illness. Praying for strength for all of you during this time.

  8. The Maxwell’s remain in our prayers for the intentions you have stated and for the consolation of Annie Marie and her loved ones near and far. May God’s Will through these circumstances bring all to him even closer.

  9. I’m praying for Anna Marie and her family and her doctors and wisdom for everyone. Being diagnosed with cancer is scary. My mother is a breast cancer survivor.
I will pray that surgery is scheduled and treatment begins soon.

  10. Since your first post regarding this, Anna Marie has been on my heart and in my prayers. What a sweet Mommy you are and may you continue to trust your Lord and Saviour through this process.
For some reason, Pastor SM Davis shared a story about a pregnant mother diagnosed with a tumor in the beginning of The Attitude No Lady Should Have.
Now from what I have observed I would say you are far from a Martha, and I share that only because, like I said, he shares the story. You and your whole family are very lovely and my prayers are with you. God bless you now and always.

  11. Have been and will continue to pray for Anna Marie and the rest of the family. May God continue to guide and direct in every decision and give His strenth and peace in every way!! Such a precious family and wonderful testimony for the Lord!!
