Over the past 15+ years, we’ve made it our tradition to gather together with the married young adults and their families on Christmas Eve, whoever can come. Amazingly, it’s worked out to be everyone.
With almost 30 of us, the house rang with laughter, talking, and much joy.
I love seeing the little kids’ excitement over their gifts to the other cousins and aunts and uncles. Little Benji slept with his gift for Mary (art paint pens!) for nights before Christmas.
It’s a blessing to have family who love each other and love being together.
Enjoy the peek into Christmas Eve!
Have a great Monday, Sarah
After dinner, we had our little Christmas “program,” started years ago by Grandad. Here’s the link if you’re interested.
“That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:” Psalm 78:6-7
