Family Handyman Magazine

Christopher has gifted me with a subscription to The Family Handyman Magazine for a number of years. He knows that I’m always interested in learning better ways of creating and maintaining things around the home. If moms are looking for something very inexpensive and practical for your husband, you might consider gifting your husband with it. If you go to The Family Handyman’s website, a 1-year subscription is $10 or $15/2years.

We will have some ideas later from Titus2 for Father’s Day that will be a spiritual blessing to his heart.

“Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.”
Titus 2:6

  1. We also get Family Handyman and have for years. I want to share an experience we had with the magazine. One issue a year or two ago had un-family friendly advertisements in it at the back of the magazine. I immediately contacted the magazine and let them know that these advertisements were new and that I felt they were not in line with what they had in the past and that I could no longer leave the magazine out for my children to thumb threw. They said they would look into it and from the next issue on they have never had those advertisements again. I do not know of any other magazine that would take such quick action with advertisers. I highly recommend the magazine as a good one for families with children.

    1. Kara,
Thank you for sharing. That is pretty amazing that they responded to your concern. Impressive.

      Steve

    2. I think it’s great that you notified them & gave them that second chance.

Maxwells- has everyone & y’alls homes been safe from the storms out there?

  2. I will be considering this for a future gift. I have never heard of this magazine before. Thank you!

  3. What a great idea!!! Very useful and reasonably priced! I can’t wait to hear more ideas!

I didn’t know you guys had tornadoes by you! I’m so glad your all ok! I’ll be adding a safe tornado season for you guys to my prayer list!!!

    1. Hi Sandi,
It was amazing that a mile wide tornado could be on the ground for 30 miles in the Kansas City area and not have any deaths or massive devastation. Anyone’s home being damaged is very sad, but it is such a blessing that the damage wasn’t far worse.

      Blessings,
      Steve
