Memorial Day 2019

Today we the people of the United States of America remember those who gave their lives defending our freedom. They gave the greatest gift they could give us—their own life. Freedom is not free.

As we reflect on that, may we also grieve for the state of our nation. Where right is considered wrong, and wrong proclaimed as right. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” — Isaiah 5:20

May it be our hearts’ cry to share the gospel! “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” — Jude 1:22-23

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Romans 1:16
