Happy Birthday, Sarah!

We know you envisioned your life to be a stay-at-home mom homeschooling children, but God hasn’t directed  that way by bringing the right man into your life. So you have focused your energies on what He has given you to do and had an amazingly  productive life in that.

You are the backbone of Titus2 and are diligent to keep up with all the details that it generates.

So many families are blessed and encouraged by the children’s books you write and our Titus2 blog that you keep content flowing to every week.

You deal with the financial aspects of your brothers’ businesses plus do more for them, and they are all grateful to you.

We love you, and look forward to what God has in store for you in 2019.

“Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” Proverbs 31:31

  3. Happy Birthday sweet Sarah!!

I hope your day is wonderful, your year full of joy and blessing! I agree with everything your mom wrote…you are such an encouragement and a blessing to many. I know your desire is to be married and raising a family, and your sweet spirit of contentment and peace with the life the Lord’s providence has given is such a testimony of His faithfulness to you and of your love for Him.

Thank you for keeping the blog running. Titus 2 and another blog are the only two blogs I read daily. I know you don’t post daily, but I check daily!!! And I love it when there’s a post!

Have a great day! Much love to you!
    Trish

  8. Amen! Waiting is so hard (speaking as one who was 32 when she got married), but living a full life is about being used by God. What a blessing that you do that! Praying God gives you the desires of your heart as you serve Him. Happy birthday!

  9. Happy Birthday!!! Praying this next year is the best yet. You bless so many and have truly set such a beautiful example of what a productive God-fearing woman should be. Thank you Sarah!! Great photos too. So gorgeous!

  10. You look beautiful in these winter wonderland pictures! Happy Birthday, Sarah! I know that you have been such a blessing in my life and I am so grateful for your friendship and encouragement. May the Lord give you His wisdom and direction for this year and may His blessings and joy overflow in your life!

  11. Sarah:

My husband and I didn’t marry until we were 36 years old. We were lucky enough to have our only child when we were both 39. Being an older parent has been awesome.
Life takes you in many directions, and any way you choose to live it is the right way.

    Happy Birthday –

    Irene

    1. Irene,

Thanks for your sweet comment! I’m grateful to have lots of little kids in my life through nieces and nephews! 🙂 Yes, I’ve heard many stories of the Lord giving the right spouse at an “older” age! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

      Sarah

  12. Happy Birthday, Sarah!!! I am so truly encouraged by your example and your personality!! These pictures are GREAT. Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

  13. Happy Birthday Sarah! You are a great example to me and I love reading your books and keeping updated on the blog. God is truly using you in a wonderful way. 1. Mary and Anna made a special breakfast, and then Anna had asked what I wanted to do. I decided that organizing my closet with Anna and Mary would be a huge blessing. So, we spent a few hours working on that. WOW! What an amazing gift that was to me! 🙂 Afterward, we enjoyed coffee and played games. We had a family birthday party tonight. Saturdays are a perfect birthday. We even had beautiful snow last night which left everything sparkling when the sun came out this morning.

  14. Oh my. I lost track of time, I didn’t realize what date it was! I kept telling myself through this month, then today I forgot! Happy Birthday, Sarah! Sweet pictures. Hope the Lord mightily blesses you this year-though I know He has already-.

    Love, Rebecca

  15. Wishing you a very happy birthday, Sarah, and I love those pictures! That Ellie looks like such a sweet dog. I have a little black & white tuxedo cat named Ellie who has been a very special blessing to me. I just want to say what an inspiration you are to so many people. I love reading all your blog posts about your family, and you are also a great photographer. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and for how you always shine for the Lord. Many blessings to you!

    1. Thanks, Kris! Yes, Ellie is my sweet buddy! So glad you are blessed by the blog and the pictures! 🙂 I was just thinking last night when photographing something how much I love photography! 🙂

  16. I read your blog but don’t comment but today I want to comment to say happy birthday to Sarah. I’m 34 and not married and I always thought I would be by now.I’ve never been a very patient person so I wonder if God has decided to teach me patience by making me wait 🙂 I know He has His reasons and it’s just taught me to trust Him more (though I’ll be honest and say it is very hard sometimes, because I want so much to have a family if my own, and I think that’s just started the natural desire of a woman is to have children) but anyway one thing I have learned, like you, is to treat these years of singleness as a gift to serve God fully because when you’re single you have a lot more time and energy to just focus on God. Also I still live with my parents and think all this extra time beung with them is a gift I wouldn’t otherwise have.Anyway birthday and congratulations for all the amazing things you have accomplished, like writing an entire series of books. You’re such a beautiful girl and I don’t know you but you seem to have a beautiful heart to go along with that beautiful face.

    1. br,

Thank you so much for sharing and leaving your first comment. You blessed me so much! I love Jim Elliot’s quote: “God always gives his best to those who leave the choice with him.”

God has promised that “no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psalm 84:11 He knows what is best for us! I love your testimony. Keep serving Him!

      Sarah

  17. Happy birthday, Sarah! You know, whether you stay single for the rest of your life or not, doesn’t mean you can’t experience the pinnacle of life / unlock the next level as so many people think. Knowing God is the pinnacle of life and that’s possible for all believers! I would encourage you to live life for the joyous, amazing, God-given thing it is and continue doing all those things you love. Anyway, today is YOUR day, girl! May you celebrate, thank God for His goodness in providing another day of life, and enjoy every second – and every bite of birthday cake. Xo

    1. Thanks, Heather! Yes, the Lord has so blessed, and I love what He’s given me to do! Serving Jesus is a joy! I’m having an awesome day, and yes, I’m going to enjoy my chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake for dessert. I love cheesecake! I’ve had great chocolate today and about to have a mocha and! 🙂
