Celebrating God’s Goodness

God has been so gracious, and Finding Change was complete proof to that. I hit many obstacles along the way. But His mercy kept me going and pressing toward that goal, knowing He had called me to this specific story.

The day my book arrived from the printer was indeed a celebration day! My family threw a surprise party making a favorite meal of mine (pizza!) and ice cream for dessert! They have all been a huge support to me through the process, not only offering suggestions and helping to refine the plot but freeing me up from responsibilities. I’m so blessed.

To me, it’s an exciting fact that books are arriving in homes, because that means the story has reached its end destination: kids! We’d love to see pictures of your kids reading the book to possibly include in a future blog post. Just e-mail them to [email protected]

  3. My oldest son(11) loves your books. When we received our copy he had it read in a few hours(after mom of course). I enjoyed it as well. I know the other kids will love it as well when they read it or as a read aloud. Great Job.

    1. We enjoyed being able to surprise Sarah with a little family party. Mary is my wonderful decorator. That isn’t something I do well or enjoy so I am very grateful for all she does to make it look beautiful here.

  6. Congratulations! We were finally just able to purchase the Moody series. My son had been wanting it for a long time, and even offered to spend his money (he had like $19, ha, ha) to buy it. 🙂 We are currently reading ‘Autumn With The Moodys’, and even my older kids who are “too big” for the stories chuckle sometimes while they’re doing their schoolwork and they hear me reading.

    It seems your family is very blessed with one another. How special that you got your favorite meal. I’m happy for you!

  7. I was so excited to get the book in the mail and just finished reading it. I loved it so much! Can’t wait to give it to my nephews for Christmas. I know they will love it! Thank you!
