Four Days Until Sarah’s Book Launch

I’m so excited that we’re down to just 4 days until the book launch! The official release is Wednesday, the 14th, at 8am, right here on the blog.

The book is currently at press, and we saw our first proof this week. This story has been an amazing journey and has thrilled me as I immersed myself in writing it. I can’t wait to tell you more on Wednesday.

“It is a blessing to find trusted authors—ones you know love the Lord and desire to see children obey their parents and come to Christ in salvation. Sarah Maxwell has proven herself again to be one of these authors. Her heart for MY children shines through the pages of her books. Thanks, Sarah!” — Chaundra, test mom

I’m so happy to have such an awesome, enthusiastic group of readers. You keep me writing! 🙂

“O satisfy us early with thy mercy;
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days
Psalm 90:14

  1. Dear Sarah,

I literally cannot wait to see your new book, and to read it as well!

    Congratulations on this huge accomplishment.

    Many blessings,

  2. Sarah- you are such a beautiful, godly young lady and God is using you in a mighty way for His glory. Praise Him! In our Lord Jesus Christ, Ann P.S. – I really like the dress you are wearing in this photo; I like the long sleeves, high neck line, and pretty pattern. Where is it from, or did you make it yourself?

  3. How exciting Sarah, yah we can’t wait 🙂
Thank you for sharing about audio books in a previous post, I treated our family to some new cds and they have really enjoyed them. Pilgrims progress is their favourite at the moment.
The great thing is they can listen to it and still be productive ie, making some craft projects for Christmas!
Packed some shoe boxes also off this week too, it is so good to teach the children not everything is for them!
Your Mums post this month is also excellent and I have found it very helpful, I even got my husband to read it!
Have a great rememberance Sunday as we remember those who died for our freedom.
Sending our love to you all

    1. Thanks! Shoebox packing here has been really neat too. We had Joseph and Elissa and company over the other night and packed some. I loved seeing Calia’s enthusiasm!

  4. So exciting! I’m in the process of writing my first book right now, and your diligence has definitely inspired me. I think you mentioned somewhere that you self-publish (forgive me if I’m wrong), which makes your ability to stick to deadlines even more impressive since they’re self-imposed (of course I didn’t realize until I began the process how important it is to have books out in time for the holidays. I know that now!) Big, big congratulations, and I look forward to seeing what you’ve written 🙂

    1. Thanks, Katie. Yes, writing does require a lot of dedication. One thing my teacher at the writer’s conference last year said was to book your writing time and treat it as an appointment. It happens! Turning my devices on airplane mode is also a huge thing. We do self-publish, but I still have outside deadlines. I had scheduled a certain time frame with our copyeditor, and I had a press date scheduled with the printer, so two very important dates. Thus, it kept me moving! My announcement video is in progress and lots of other details to finish up before Wednesday! 🙂

  5. Yay yay yay!!!!! So super excited. I can’t wait! Btw Sarah I love the picture of u and Ellie there. Ellie has gotten so big! 🙂

  6. Sarah,
Yes, 2 more days! We are praying for you! You have your own cheering squad over here! Ellie is one beautiful dog! Our Scout would love to play with her… Love to you this Monday!
