Happy 22nd Birthday, Mary!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Mary! She gets to spend yet another birthday in the gorgeous mountains. Yesterday, she and Jesse and Anna went on a 14er adventure, and today, Lord willing, we’re planning to do a 14er as a family.

Awesome facts:

  • She loves to spend time with children.
  • She is diligent to memorize Scripture.
  • She makes crazy-good rolls.
  • She has an incredible servant’s heart.
  • She is the master get-any-stain-out-of-clothes expert.
  • She loves caramel lattes.

    1. Both Mary and I had both great, but very different, birthdays. Mary loves hiking a 14er on her birthday. So amazing that she has been able to do that so many of her birthdays when we don’t live in Colorado!

    1. Yes, Christi, and Steve and I stepped up our exercise this summer in anticipation of the difficulty of hiking here in Colorado. Jesse researched and picked our 14er hikes this year – the one Steve and I could do and the ones for the others.

    1. Mary has celebrated 8 birthdays in a row in Colorado. The first time we went to Colorado as a family vacation was May the year Mary was born in August! We have had lots of years we couldn’t to back but now quite a few sequentially.
