I know I’ve been sort of missing from the blog lately, and I’ll share some of what’s been going on. First, it’s been a crazy summer. 🙂 There’s been so much to do, but when He calls, He enables!
The Lord gave me the opportunity to share at a camp for foster girls. It was an amazing time! I shared 2x a day a devotional type talk, plus an opening and closing talk, so a total of 10 times. I loved seeing the girls’ interest in the Bible, learning more about Him, and how to live for Jesus! Â
After that, I spent 3+ days with long-time friends. With how intense my schedule was prior, I really enjoyed some relaxing time. They took me kayaking one day, and just floating on the water and talking was relaxing!
We’re headed for Colorado VERY soon! Our family has had a lot of traveling over the summer, with people here and there, so it’ll be an extra special time of just being together!
Also, due to my limited time right now, I’m taking a break from approving/replying to comments, and others will be doing comments. I’ll still read comments as I can, and you’ll be hearing from me through blog posts! 🙂
Love,
Sarah
Ellie was super sad to have me leave!
Oh, you know how much I enjoy mochas! My friends treated me to Big City Coffee. The pumpkin chai muffin was flavor packed and the mocha delicious!
Working with Cathy Jo’s sheep to get them ready for the fair.
Making mochas.
Yes, I told you it’s been crazy, so I juggled work on the road too!

What amazing opportunities God has blessed you with! Our summer has been busy too and currently, we are helping my sister and her family move! Considering our passed schedule, this is relaxing! 😉
They look like a super nice family! Cathy Jo’s sheep is darling!
That looks like wonderful summer fun. Sounds like it was a real blessing to just enjoy some taking in of creation and be with friends – what a blessing! May your memories be a continual encouragement to you.
It’s greatly inspiring to hear of what you did with the foster girls. A friend and I are just starting up a little Sunday School for after church in the hope that the Lord will draw some local children to hear the Gospel. It’s a real blessing to be working with other women in the Lord.
You’ll be looking forward to Colorado!
🙂

I once heard this quote but don’t know its source: “God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called.” Enjoy your travels!
