This is the perfect time to purchase supplies for your Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes because it’s back to school! There are many practical items you can buy for the boxes.
Anna and Mary took Abby and Bethany to WalMart and stocked up. So if you’ve been thinking about OCC, now is your opportunity to get a head start!
Love,
Sarah

To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
James 1:27
They excited for school again
Back to homeschool was always a time I looked forward to, but this particular shopping trip was for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!
Oh, wow! Looking at all that school supplies makes me wish I was still in school! I hope OCC goes well for y’all!
I’d love to see the cashiers expression when she saw all those items on her belt! Good on your girls, you’ve got the biggest hearts!
How exciting!
Looks like you all had great fun!

Thank you for the reminder! We went today and stocked up, although not quite as much as you all did! No sales tax this weekend in Ohio for back to school shopping…an added bonus!
Ooh fun! I love occ. How many boxes do y’all pack each year? Y’all might like the book about occ samaritans purse recently put out. I’m reading it right now and loving it. I’m hoping our church can do occ this year.
We’re hoping for more than last year! I didn’t know they put out a book. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks!
I enjoy shopping for OCC too! It is such a joy to be able to help poor children overseas!
I’m astounded that you were able to get that many at the back-to-school price! Here we have a limit on how many at that price – the rest were at the non-sale price. The limit is usually 2 or 4 of a specific item (4 boxes of crayons, for example).
How wonderful that you are able to get so many! How many boxes are you all hoping to pack this year?
More than last year, so over 100! Yes, well, maybe Kansas Wal-Marts are different! 🙂
Hello Sarah, how are you doing with the book
Love Heather
It’s coming along well!
