True Love

I’ve been marveling over this verse lately. This is the ultimate expression of love:

“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:10).”

May you show Jesus’ love in a special way today to someone else!

  1. Sending love to you today Sarah! Thanks for shining brightly in a dark world. Happy Valentines Day!!

  2. Happy Valentines Day! I love 1 John 4:10. It sounds perfect for Valentines Day, showing what true love is. 😀

  3. Thanks for the verse and the encouragement, Sarah! It’s powerful to put what you said with that verse.

      1. Your faithfulness to lift others up is beautiful to see month-by-month and year-by-year Sarah. I know all is preparation also for His future for you and your future family, too.

  4. Thank you for the passage you gave us today. Since today is recognized as Valentine’s Day, love is on the minds of people both young and old. But, as Christians we know that highest form of love is the agape love we receive from our Lord and Savior each and every moment. For me, I find it difficult to buy cards, flowers candy etc…for my loved ones today due to the escalated prices that commercialism has spun on it. I also like to think that I show my family my love on all the other 365 days a year! That being said, I did send a message to the kiddos this morning and how can anyone not love a home-made card. ?

  5. Happy Valentine’s Day Sarah!! Thank you for sharing that verse and faithfully encouraging through this blog. LOVE IT! 🙂 <3

  6. Hi Sarah,

thank you for this awesome reminder and verse: we should not focus on the fact that we do love God. Even what I call “part-time” Christians love God.
But not all Christians realise that God loves US and He sent His son to us!

This Valentine’s Day I was much more appreciative of God’s love and of His continuing blessings.

    Thank you,

    Alice
