Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle Is Shipping!

It’s very exciting to see Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle shipping out to homes across the world. I marvel at God’s enabling grace during the intense season of writing + editing the book.

Attention blog readers, I’d love to see pictures of you reading the book. In fact, I’ll even do a blog post with some of your pictures. So send them to me at the e-mail address listed on this link. I can’t wait!

More than ever, this book has rekindled my love for writing, and while I catch up on all I left undone these past two months, I’m setting my focus on another book. It’ll have new characters you’ve never met, and I’m excited to jump into their lives.

I guess Arnold thinks this is an interesting book.

Pizza party to thank the family for all their help
Our friends were in town again briefly, so we were able to meet up for coffee.
Rachel was a HUGE encouragement to me throughout the book process.

“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things
which I have made touching the king: my tongue
is the pen of a ready writer.”

  1. So exciting! I haven’t gotten to buy mine yet, but when I do I will really enjoy it! So glad for you, Sarah!

  2. Received mine yesterday, just in time to give my 8 year old sister for our early gift exchange! Thank you so much! My sister was so excited and loved having a signed book, especially one about the Moodys! When I told her they were older, she wanted to know how old Maddie was. She is her favorite! And now she wants us to read through the whole series again;) Thanks for providing us with another way to spend quality time with each other!

  8. We received ours and then my husband and I went out Christmas shopping. While we were out, my 10 year old daughter read the entire book!! When we got home, she exclaimed, “Oh, Mom, it was SOOOO good!” 🙂

  9. Congratulations, Sarah! I have not (yet 😉 ) published a book, but I’m a copy editor, so I have SOME idea (secondhand) of how exciting this is. What an accomplishment! I hope you have some time to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor this holiday season.

    1. That’s great you’re a copyeditor. Grammar must be your thing! Well, ummm, not much relaxing here, but I love to have plenty to do. Things have been busy, but we girls are going for a night away this week, so that’ll be great!

      1. Lol! Only when I’m working. 🙂 I love keeping busy as well. I’m so glad you’re getting a night away with your sisters. Enjoy!

  10. I got the book a few days ago and read the whole thing. It was awesome. I loved it! I can’t wait to read it with Joyanna when she’s a little older. She loves the Moody series. Arnold is super cute too. I’ll be sending my picture with the book soon. 🙂
