A New Christmas Book, Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle

Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle is a book I’m passionate about. It’s no secret I love Christmas, and I’ve had a dream of writing Christmas novels. I wrote my first one in 2014, and this autumn, another story took shape.

Those who’ve previewed Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle describe it as: electrifying, vivid, captivating, engaging, and wholesome.

Christmas is right around the corner in Sunflower, and life is full of surprises. Some good, some not. Mr. Gibson is at the root of them, but what can twelve-year-old Moses do? At the town hall meeting, Moses is proud to watch his older brother stand up against opposition, but the new piece of information is troubling. When their Christmas season turns into a crisis, can Moses handle what’s before him? Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle will tug your heartstrings in this incredible story of hope and love.

Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle

This book has a slightly older audience, as I reached for ages 8-14, with my main character being 12. I brought the Moodys back in, although they’re now ages 12-21. This book is a stand alone from the rest of the Moody Family Series.

Pre-order bonus: I’ll sign the first 200 copies of Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle. Books will begin shipping on December 5th. This is a perfect read for your holiday season! Grab a copy for your family and another to give away. For more information or to pre-order, stop by our online store.

I am excited about Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle. Dream. Come. True.

Also, while we’re announcing new things, Preparing Sons has received a face lift, inside and out (the content is the same). Pre-order your copy as it makes a great Christmas gift for Christian families with sons! They will begin shipping at the same time as the Christmas title.

“Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”

  1. So exciting, sounds great.
    Have ordered one for Christmas!
    Well done Sarah and all
    Love and god bless,

  2. Yay!I can’t wait to read this book! I love Christmas too and there just are not enough Christmas books out there, especially Christian ones.

And you kept the Moodys! 🙂 My siblings and I love them dearly. So nice to have a book series about fellow homeschoolers!

    Keep the books coming!

    1. I did. 🙂 I totally agree with you. I LOVE Christmas and Christmas books, but they’re hard to come by. I’m already dreaming of my next story (not Moodys though!).

      1. Oh! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! I’m a writer too and writing a book with new characters was a lot of fun. Looking forward to getting back to my old ones though, haha!

Looking forward to more wholesome reads from Titus2! 🙂

  3. That’s awesome!! The book looks beautiful and sounds amazing. You did a wonderful job! I know the Lord is at work through your book and will bless so many through it. Thank you so much for all your work! Also, the Preparing Sons book redesign looks great too! 🙂

      1. The Moody series is one of my favorite series and I enjoy reading the new books. Your books are a blessing to me.

  4. Sarah, this book looks SO good! I’m excited the Moodys are still in it. I always wanted to see what the twins would be like when they grew older. I’m going to ask for it for Christmas! I also appreciate that it’s for an older audience, although at 16 I’m “too old” for it anyway- but I couldn’t care less. 😀
Can’t wait for your next book!

    1. Hayley,

Thank you for commenting! I thoroughly enjoyed writing this story. Age wise, you are going to really love it, as Maddie is 16! 🙂 Love that girl. She’s a fun character.

  5. Thank goodness for alarms on phones! I got our book ordered this morning!
After reading the sample pages I’m even more excited. Maybe I’m simple minded but I always laugh when I read things such as the wheels on the shopping cart having issues and everyone buying up milk when a storm is about to hit!!! That is real life and it cracks me up!!
And now you are already think of a non Moody story!?!? Wow!!

Since Storm is leaning towards illustration as a career, we are excited to see Mary’s work in this book as well!

    1. 🙂 I’m really excited about this book! The amazing part is how many items I have for the Not All Fiction. So many things. Yes! My next story is not Moodys. New characters + setting + plot. I changed directions to write this story for Christmas, but I’ll be back on track with the other one very soon. Mary’s illustrations are over the top amazing! 🙂

  6. Ordered ours yesterday! This sounds amazing and I love the cover! We can’t wait to read it! There will be fights over who gets to start reading first, who will come in second, etc. (as usual) haha! Thrilled that you pulled the Moodys back in for this!!

  7. Congratulations, Sarah. So proud of you for all your hard work + so delighted for you that it is finished!

  8. I’m so happy you’ve written another book, dear Sarah!
I plan to order this for a great-niece and am sure she’ll enjoy it.
The cover is especially cute with that adorable kitten. 🙂
    Love, Mrs. Patti
