Sunflower’s Christmas Miracle is a book I’m passionate about. It’s no secret I love Christmas, and I’ve had a dream of writing Christmas novels. I wrote my first one in 2014, and this autumn, another story took shape.

Christmas is right around the corner in Sunflower, and life is full of surprises. Some good, some not. Mr. Gibson is at the root of them, but what can twelve-year-old Moses do? This book has a slightly older audience, as I reached for ages 8-14, with my main character being 12. I brought the Moodys back in, although they’re now ages 12-21. This book is a stand alone from the rest of the Moody Family Series.

  3. Yay!I can’t wait to read this book! I love Christmas too and there just are not enough Christmas books out there, especially Christian ones.

    And you kept the Moodys! 🙂 My siblings and I love them dearly. So nice to have a book series about fellow homeschoolers!

    1. I did. 🙂 I totally agree with you. I LOVE Christmas and Christmas books, but they’re hard to come by. I’m already dreaming of my next story (not Moodys though!).

  8. Sarah, this book looks SO good! I’m excited the Moodys are still in it. I always wanted to see what the twins would be like when they grew older. I’m going to ask for it for Christmas! I also appreciate that it’s for an older audience, although at 16 I’m “too old” for it anyway- but I couldn’t care less. 😀

  10. Thank goodness for alarms on phones! I got our book ordered this morning!
    After reading the sample pages I’m even more excited. Maybe I’m simple minded but I always laugh when I read things such as the wheels on the shopping cart having issues and everyone buying up milk when a storm is about to hit!!! That is real life and it cracks me up!!
    And now you are already think of a non Moody story!?!? Wow!!

    Since Storm is leaning towards illustration as a career, we are excited to see Mary’s work in this book as well!

    1. 🙂 I’m really excited about this book! The amazing part is how many items I have for the Not All Fiction. So many things. Yes! My next story is not Moodys. New characters + setting + plot. I changed directions to write this story for Christmas, but I’ll be back on track with the other one very soon. Mary’s illustrations are over the top amazing! 🙂
