Happy Birthday, Mom!

Happy Birthday to our sweet mom!

We’re so excited, because you get to celebrate this birthday in Colorado again. Totally amazing. You love to be walking through the woods, sitting in a kayak soaking in the sunshine and rugged mountains views, spending extra time with the Lord, and breathing in that invigorating air!

Many of you know Mom because of resources like Managers of Their Homes and Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit and her monthly Mom’s Corner. She has been your Titus2 mentor from afar, helping, encouraging, and supporting you! She has prayed for many of you, through fast days and just personal prayer requests. She is the real thing! I marvel at how she just pours herself into others. Constantly. Tirelessly. Willingly. Lovingly.

Thank you, Mom! We love you, and happy, happy birthday!

Oh, and several things to describe Mom’s character + personality: generous, structured, practical, down-to-earth, grateful.

“That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their
husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at
home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God
be not blasphemed.”
Titus 2:4-5

Teri, it is not in vain. Although we struggle, we are

  5. Yes!! Absolutely, Teri, you have been an incredible blessing in my life and a true Titus 2 mentor. I couldn’t begin to thank you enough for the positive changes that have occurred, and are continuing to occur, in my life, my home, and even my homeschool, as well as the hope you have given me. You have supported me through difficult situations and have always pointed me to the truth of God’s Word, rather than the erroneous views of our culture, and even at times the modern day church. I am so grateful for all of your wonderful advice, mentoring, and encouragement.

You have been the vessel the Lord has used to prepare me for being a wife and mom in ways that I am sure I would have been otherwise unprepared. I am so grateful for your wisdom and insight. You do so well at giving spiritual concepts practical and tangible application. May the Lord bless you and draw you even closer to His heart this year.

  14. Happy birthday Terri. I discovered your ministry and MOTH fairly recently and it has helped me so much to home school my children and to run my home more effectively. You are truly a blessing to your family and to others like me.
