Recently, we had the joy of attending my niece’s baptism. Christina gave her heart to Jesus last year, and she asked soon thereafter to be baptized. Since our church meets in a retirement apartment complex, we don’t have a baptismal available. We had to wait for hot weather to use a pool.
The June evening held an air of anticipation as family and friends gathered to watch Christina’s baptism. She understood that baptism did not save her; it was her faith in Jesus’ shed blood. Baptism was her public confession of salvation!
After the baptism, we enjoyed snacks and fellowship.
Love,
Sarah

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like
as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)

Hello to the Maxwell family
As a French Roman Catholic, I didn’t know how you proceed to the baptism and I find it wonderful and very tender. The lovely Tina seems radiant and I wish her the best in her sweet journey with Jesus.

It reminds me of my baptism. I was ten. I was baptized in a river.
Joyanna, my little sister was baptized recently. She was four, almost five. Tina reminded me of her. 🙂
