Reading Books Your Children Can Identify With

Real life adventure. It’s what I write. It’s what I breathe. Hello, Moody Family!

In this 10 book series (along with a short Christmas story), you’ll find believable characters and adventures your children can identify with. Each title builds, so it’s best to begin with Book #1: Summer with the Moodys. Summer is almost here, which affords extra time for children. Grab a Moody Family Adventure!

“…we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things,
dearly beloved, for your edifying.”

  1. We have and love the Moody books. I’ve read and reread them so many times with my four girls ages 4-12. We are ready for a new series written by Sarah!

    1. I’m working on outlining my next book; I’m so excited to see how the Lord is bringing this new story together!

  2. I have read all 10 Moody Books and the short Christmas story as well and I really enjoy them!Thank you soo much for putting in all the time and effort, Sarah!

    1. Thanks, Emily! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed them! Another book (not Moodys) is in the plotting stages. I’m extremely excited about it.

  3. My grandchildren enjoyed the books, my granddaughter, 5, still does, but my grandson, 9, outgrew the stories wanting something more. I’ve looked online for something comparable for him now, but no idea. Any suggestions about nonfiction for a 9 year old boy, did your brothers have a favorite author when they were that age?

    1. They liked children’s Christian biographies. I think the series was called Heroes of the Faith. I am not sure they are still in print. We have heard good things about a current series called Christian Heroes Then and Now.

  4. Moms and Dads love these books as well as the children! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed reading about a Christian family and it encouraged us in our roles as well. Truly a blessing, Sarah!

  5. I plan to purchase one for my granddaughter. I will read to her as she has not learned to read yet. We are working on that.

  6. Looking forward to the new book series. Our children love to read the Moody books over and over again.

  7. We’ve read everything you have written Sarah and still have the books. Can’t part with them. I do suggest them to many homeschool families looking for good wholesome books.
Thank you for what you do!
