Visiting Friends in Sunny Texas

It’s a beautiful morning here in Texas. Yes, you read that right. I flew to Texas Wednesday to visit friends!

At the moment, I’m enjoying some time on the back porch. The birds are singing, and the sun is adding a warming touch to the cool air.

I’ll post more pictures later, but we went to the Alamo yesterday. It was a sobering time to reflect on all that happened there many years ago. Truly, freedom is not free!

Love,
Sarah

for my expectation is from him.”

  1. Wow. Have fun. I read about Davy Crockett and what happened at the Alamo. It was very sobering. You’re right: freedom ISN’T free! That’s why it should NEVER be taken for granted, spiritual or legal! It’s too precious.

  2. Welcome to San Antonio. The weather is so nice these last few days because of a cool front. Enjoy your time with friends. And maybe I will see you somewhere about town.

  3. Looks like you had fun on your trip! Is this the first time you have left your pup since you got her? Either way I bet you missed her. Love seeing pics of her by the way! So cute!

I’ve left her a few other times–and yes, she totally misses me :).
