Girls’ Day Out

Wednesday, we girls and Mom had a special day out. We started out the time with purpose: ministry! Next, a delightful stop at Roasterie.

From there, we went to several stores. The girls had gift cards to spend at one of them, thanks to Nathan and Melanie (for babysitting help).

I enjoyed browsing the store, while the girls shopped with a purpose.

You can tell which color Mary favors.

Bass Pro is a fun store–especially their ladies’ clothes section.

We ate mid-afternoon at On the Border (I’m very fond of their chips and salsa), and then we finished out our shopping with Sprouts, SAMS, and our local grocery store.

It was a full, wonderful day!

“Happy is that people, that is in such a case:
yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.”
Psalm 144:15

  1. Beautiful ladies! So sweet to enjoy fellowship and shopping together. Looks like y’all had a great time! (Aqua is my favorite color too, Mary!)

  2. Ah, it looks like you had a fun day? What was the ministry you all were working on? I’m guessing Operation Christmas Child from the stores you went to, but I couldn’t tell. 🙂

  3. You girls always have such pretty long skirts – can you recommend any online sources for finding denim/corduroy skirts for girls and ladies?
