Couples’ Date Night

Last year, Anna and Mary initiated a Maxwell married couples’ date night. They wanted to see all the married couples go out to eat while they babysat the children. It was a resounding success.

They wanted to see it happen again this year so with a new baby due in March, they decided to try to get it scheduled right away, which isn’t always easy with four families involved. The group is now 9 strong (well, that’s 9 nieces and nephews!), full of life, and the aunts and uncles have a blast with them.

Coloring time!

The nieces and nephews out number their sitters.
Bible time–3 to 1!

and obtaineth favour of the LORD.” Proverbs 18:22

  1. Looks like everyone had a nice time. Where was baby Daniel?

He was there. Anna Marie left a bottle for him. He just didn’t make it into any of the photos chosen for the blog post.

  2. That looks like so much fun all the way around. Macaroni and rolls! Gotta love kid meals. I know I do. The married couples are very blessed to have such wonderful Aunts and Uncles for their children to hang with. Great idea.

  3. How sweet of you girls to think of others like that! What a great example of selflessness. I know those little children must look up to all their aunts and uncles. So precious. You are impacting their lives for the Lord. Bless you!
