Bible Bee 2016 | A Great Event to Watch Live

For several years, we’ve enjoyed watching the Bible Bee live. It’s  amazing to watch these young people, who have memorized hundreds of verses, recite with the joy of the Lord. We’ve wanted to attend, but it hasn’t worked out until this year! John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary are enjoying it in person. We’re so excited for them!

Here are some pictures, and I’m sure we’ll have more later.

If you want to encourage your children in memorizing God’s Word or you yourself want to be encouraged (I know I am every year!), tune into the Bible Bee live today and tomorrow as they narrow their contestants down. It’s also a joy for us as we know Titus2 ministry followers who participated.

Love,
Sarah

  1. Thank you for telling us about this! It is absolutely amazing and inspiring to see children quoting such long passages from all over the Bible! We truly have been blessed by the parts we have seen. How neat that some of your family was able to attend in person!

  2. We participate in the Bible Bee every year and our second oldest daughter made it to Nationals two years in a row. It’s an incredible experience!

  3. I have friends there participating, well the children are anyway.

I don’t recall your ever mentioning if you all participated when you were younger or not, did you participate? How did you do?

    Blessings, Mari

Our family didn’t participate. We didn’t even learn about it until about 4 years ago.

  4. Aw! I was planning to go as well, but it didn’t work out for me this year. I did, however, get to watch the whole event through the Live-stream. What a blessing!

  5. Very neat! We did our own little Bible Bee here tonight! My daughter’s Bible tabs came with little stickers, and I told her we could highlight all the verses she could recite word perfect and put a little sticker by each verse/passage. She just spent the evening reciting to the family and managed 93 (she’s eight)!!

  6. Maybe the Maxwell grandkids will participate when they’re older? (I don’t know the maximum or minimum age levels for the Bible Bee, but from the photos it looks like it’s mostly older kids.)

  7. Oh so sad . I worked the registration last year but couldn’t make it work this year. I could have met you guys. Glad you had a great time.

  8. So glad some of you could attend in person! 🙂 I wasn’t familiar with the Bible Bee until an author friend of mine mentioned it (two of her six children participate in it yearly, and this year her daughter went to the semi-finals). What a wonderful activity for young people!
    Love, Mrs. Patti
