Thursday, John, Anna, Jesse, Mary, and I did a double 14er. It was an intense day. I can’t wait to share the hike with you, but I’ll leave you with just two pictures for now!

“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee…” Psalm 63:1
Beautiful! Where is this? I love the snow cover mountains over the sunrise. Great pictures! Blessings, Grace
Does that mean you were at 28,000 feet or you hiked 2 mountains in one day? >>>>>>> 2 peaks in one day. More to follow!!
I thank you for your family blog and pictures. Always encouraging and often makes me smile. In our world where there is often heartache, your message helps.
What amazing photos! I’ve loved seeing your Colorado photos, thanks for sharing!
The pictures look really beautiful with the snow!
I envy you; I didn’t complete my first 14er, Mt. Elbert- due to having to turn back because of weather and taking longer than I expected (made it to the base of the false summit); and you guys got two in that day! Congrats and it gives me something to work towards. God is good and I can agree that seeing the world from that perspective is amazing. Seeing the work of God’s hands puts us in the right humble perspective. I enjoyed my trip to Colorado and I am happy to see that you and your family enjoyed yours as well. Looking forward to seeing more pictures! May God bless you all ๐ — Good for you for turning around! Some people aren’t willing to make the decision. I’ve turned around myself on peaks. God’s Creation and His goodness is amazing. What a marvel! A complete post is coming soon!
Snow in August – wow! Looking forward to more photos in due course ๐
Glad to see SNOW! I haven’t seen snow for 6 years! We lived in Texas for 12 years and now we live in AZ. Right in the middle of the desert:(. Glad to see y’all are having a good time!
