Headed for the Mountains!

We’re on the road and headed for Colorado. That’s a huge praise the Lord! We went from Monday-morning-normal-life to Monday afternoon let’s-change-our-plans-and-go-to-Colorado.

Ellie is happy to be with us.

The days flew as we focused on work, a birthday celebration, and finally the last two days, trip preparations. Well, two days is said loosely. It was not solid prepare for trip; we were still doing things that were important. It was awesome to see everyone pitch in!

Master lists are key to preparing for a trip, and Mom and Anna have also done a great job with keeping notes every year on what we found beneficial or what we wish we would have had. You can see some sample packing lists here. Maybe it’ll give you an idea of what might help streamline your packing.

The weather is delightful after a storm system went through last night, and we enjoyed a nice break at Colby to stretch. We’re going to spend the night outside of Denver and head up to our cabin tomorrow afternoon.

We just entered Colorado! Yay!

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
