I wanted to tell you that I think there is a correlation between scheduling/adequately managing one’s home and weight control.
As of yesterday, I have lost 38 excess pounds and have about 16 to go in order to meet my goal. The weight loss has been slow, but steady. I have tried unsuccessfully many times to lose weight in the past 8 years, but it wasn’t until I tried losing the weight AFTER having my schedule in place again that I had any real and lasting success. I find that I am NOT eating out of reactions to stress or out of a feeling of loss over control anymore.

Definitely no getting bored with a schedule. Wonderful not having to ponder over what to do next. Yes, works great for not eating out of boredom. MOTH is great!!

Hi, I am wondering if there is a schedule that Teri followed and gave to this woman? Or if it means just having a schedule in general.
I would love a meal plan or schedule if that is the case.
You all are in great shape and it would be a lot of help to me (and I’m sure others)!

The lady was simply making a schedule using Managers of Their Homes. In the book we encourage each family to make a schedule that fits the needs of their family. So she was simply living a more disciplined life on her schedule.
