If you’re a parent, you know how incredible it is to have time away with no distractions or interruptions from the children. If you’re a homeschool mom, you also know how enjoyable homeschool conferences are. Combine the two of those, and you have an amazing duo!
This past weekend, Nathan and Melanie and Christopher and Anna Marie were able to do just that, with the ever-exciting Aunt Anna, Aunt Mary, and Grandma holding down the fort while they were gone.
For clarity sake as you look through the picture diary below, Nathan and Melanie left Friday evening and returned Saturday evening. Christopher and Anna Marie left Saturday morning and returned Sunday.

Now Saturday morning.

Aunt Anna and Aunt Mary took all the kids to a park to play on the playground and then had a picnic. They made quite a sweet sight as they set out!
They had visits from the uncles.

Filling out a textbook order.
Saturday evening, Nathan and Melanie had their kids again, and now we had Christopher’s kids over.
What a sweet crew! Good job, Mom, Anna, and Mary for all your childcare!
“She looketh well to the ways of her household,
and eateth not the bread of idleness.”
Proverbs 31:27
I would love to hear what Melanie and Nathan would recommend for textbooks!

A little ;).
Such a beautiful post of all of you coming together! This is such an encouragment! Thank you! Blessings.
Looks like you all had a wonderful, fun and blessed time. Thank you for sharing the pictures – your nieces and nephews are adorable.
Children everywhere!! I love it!! Looks like so much fun!
May God be with you,
Johnna
Enjoy those times at the park with the littles! They will be teenagers before you know it. I speak from experience here. It seems like yesterday I was taking my nieces to the park. Now the older one is graduating from high school and the younger one just turned fourteen. We still spend a lot of time together, but it’s a different season of life with different activities.
Cute photos! 🙂
Looks like a very busy and fun weekend for all – – and those doing childcare were making special memories too. I enjoyed seeing Ellie “posing” in a photo with the children!
Love, Mrs. Patti
What a blessing all around! 🙂
Looks like you all had a fun time!
What a blessing it would be if we had family that lived close enough to watch our kiddos. We are in Minnesota and all our family is in California. We have yet to make it to a convention, but would love to one day! Beautiful pictures of happy faces!
Blessing to y’all
Courtney
