Creative Way to Announce the Gender of Your Baby

Sweet friends of ours sent us this video, and it was so creative, we had to share (they gave permission). There are many ways to announce the gender of a baby, but I thought this one was especially creative.

Love,
Sarah

“And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply
thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb….”

  1. So sweet!

We are due with our 6th boy any day now! Our oldest, almost 13, is our one and only precious daughter so far.

    Thank you for sharing!

  2. Six daughters! What a blessing. Do Christopher and Anna Marie plan to find out their new baby’s gender ahead of time?

They don’t plan to, so it’ll be a surprise!

  3. How fun! I love to see how excited they are to welcome another girl. We’ve known friends over the years whose children were all the same gender, and it seems (to us) that the grandchildren tend to reverse the trend. The families with 5+ girls have had mostly grandsons, and the families with 5+ boys have had mostly granddaughters.

I hope Anna Marie is doing well with her pregnancy – we’re looking forward to hearing about their new family member!

That is an interesting observation! So maybe that’s why there are lots more girls coming along on the Maxwell side, as we definitely had a majority of boys.

Anna Marie is doing okay, although her varicose veins are getting worse.

  4. Before I clicked the video, I mistook one of the little girls for Bethany and thought I’d missed an announcement along the way!

Congratulations to the family in this video. 🙂

  5. Congratulations to the happy family! My sister and brother-in-law are expecting their 6th baby any day now too. They have four boys and one girl and are patiently waiting to see whether the Lord is blessing them with their fifth boy or second girl – either way, a much-loved blessing!
