God’s Protection Over John

Today, John was in a three vehicle accident, and we’re so grateful for the Lord’s protection over all involved.

A vehicle ran a stop sign, and rear-ended John’s truck, which spun him around and into another vehicle. John’s truck finally ended up halfway on someone’s yard and driveway, with side air bags deployed. He joked that it almost looked like he backed into their driveway. John¬†walked away from the wreck, although he is definitely feeling the effects of being thrown around tonight.

John’s truck could be¬†totaled. But we praise the Lord for protecting everyone. It’s amazing how quickly life can change.

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
Psalm 91:11-12

  1. That’s so awful. Praise God for his protection with John. About a year ago. I had a rear end collision and was really in a lot of pain too! Thankfully I was able to drive again with time. It can be so dangerous out there!

  2. Wow, praise the LORD for his protection! I, too, know how life can change so quickly in one split second.
It`s a good reminder to us to live right, (and be right with God,) because we don`t know how long we have.
Praise God that he is all right!!

  3. Thank you Jesus for keeping John safe and that no one else was hurt! Continue to be in this situation and heal John from any affects of this accident. In Jesus name, Amen.

  4. Wow!! Really scary. Praising God for John’s safety! Hope he’s doing ok and no after effects.

He definitely feels the impact of the crash still, but so thankful for his protection!

  5. So thankful that John is safe. I lost an extended family member a few weeks ago to a car accident, and also heard about the father of an acquaintance who was killed in a car accident just last week. Our life on earth is so short! It’s really reminded me not to take for granted the relationships into which the Lord has placed me, and to live every moment for His glory. I’m praising the Lord now for John’s protection and for the way even this accident will bring people into John’s life that you can potentially impact for eternity.

I’m so very sorry to hear about you losing a family member. So sorry. Those things are so hard.

  6. So scary! Especially when those air bags go off! Thank God for His protection of John and all involved. And praying for patience in dealing with the insurance companies and getting John back on the road again.

Thank you! It’ll be a process!

  7. How did the other folks involved in the crash fair?
No one was injured, except a slight scratch on a finger.

  8. SO sorry this happened to John, but very thankful everyone is okay. As my brother-in-law stated years ago: Vehicles can be replaced, but people cannot.
Praising the Lord for His protection!
    Love, Mrs. Patti

  9. Praising God that everyone was okay. It is things like this that remind me to be thankful for each and every day because this earthly life is fleeting and it CAN change in an instant.
