My puppy is growing so fast! I can still hold her, but it’s getting harder.

Mom taught Ellie how to play fetch. Way to go, Mom!

This week, Ellie met Sophie. It’s safe to say that Ellie clearly prefers people over animals. She almost climbed over my shoulder, but then she settled down. In fact, as we patiently worked with her, she began to tolerate Sophie, especially if Sophie was distracted with Mary and her treat bag! We’ll be visiting Sophie more, and pretty soon, they’ll be good friends.

Watch for a post soon with something special the entire family is doing tonight!
Love,
Sarah

your heart,Β all ye that hope in the Lord.”
Psalm 31:24
Wow! Ellie is getting big. Just like children, they grow up to fast. I’m not sure who Sophie is. Guess I need to read back through posts!
Sarah, your Mom is the best, even at teach dogs to fetch.
Blessings,
Johnns

Ellie is so cute! Thanks for sharing. We suddenly have a couple of stuffed animals named “Ellie” around here… π We are very thankful for the encouragement the Maxwell family supplies.

You are getting some awesome shots, Sarah! That big black puppy nose — there are no words! Keep sharing. She’s just so, so cute and obviously spreads so much joy.
Such cute photos!! π

Sarah, she is beautiful and sweet.
Wow! Ellie has gotten so big! She’s so adorable! I love the pictures of her and Sophie! Thanks for sharing!
Ellie is just too cute! BTW: I took your lead on the dog treat and they are a hit. Thanks!
Here is another one to try when she get a little older: Plato Organic Chicken or Duck (their favorite )Dog Treats. They are great for obedience training as they are easy to break into tiny bites.
Another thing our buddies love are dog puzzles: Nina Ottosen makes some amazing “puzzles” for dogs. It makes them “work” for their dinner and keeps they occupied. I stick to the plastic because I can pop them into the dishwasher. My only word of advice is once she solves the “puzzle” pick them up and out of reach; otherwise they turn into chew toys!
Adorable puppy! π
