Sarah Takes a Trip

Life has been a whirlwind lately, with work, Ellie, and then preparing for a short trip. It’s been 5+ years since I’ve flown, and Thursday morning, I boarded a plane to visit a friend. The flight was short and sweet, although 5 years had erased my memory of how small each seat is. Coupled with a completely full flight: I abandoned the idea of getting out my laptop!

I’ll have more pictures later, but here are a few. And yes, I actually did leave Ellie. I had this trip planned pre-Ellie! She has become my little buddy, and I wasn’t sure how she was going to do, but she’s done very well with the family taking care of her. I’ll be back Tuesday, so it’s a short trip.

Tiffany and her family came to a conference many years ago, and we’ve been friends since.

  1. Oh wow! Fun! Does the trip have anything to do with the new book or just a vacation with a friend?

    Just visiting my friend!

  2. Sarah, I think the seats really have gotten smaller in the last five years. I’m taking a trip myself in a couple of months, so I’ll soon find out! I’m glad you had a nice visit with your friend.
