It’s hard to narrow down pictures of Ellie. She’s so cute (but not as cute as my nieces/nephews). She’s done beautifully this past week and has definitely become my buddy. We’re training with basic commands, and she’s especially catching on nicely to the “come” command. She’s a smart dog. I’m also grateful Ellie is sleeping all night long! She’s growing up so fast–literally!
Happy 1st Day of February. Where did January go?!
Love,
Sarah

“Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.”
Psalm 63:1
She is adorable! Will she stay around this size as she ages, or will she grow much larger?

She’s going to get big. Probably 70 pounds or more.
I love reading your family blog. It never fails to cheer me up and show something positive! I am so happy that you’ve added a pet puppy to the mix!
Hello Sarah and Maxwell-Family,
as we are a big family in Christ I want to share with you about a German family (believers). They have 5 boys from 13 down to newborn (a little bit premature, still in hospital). 2 years ago the mother was diagnosed with cancer and seemed to be OK only with changing diet (she refused to have a chemotherapy). Then she became pregnant and because of all the pregnancy hormons the cancer spread over her whole body (metastasis). After giving birth to her littlest boy she is now dying. She gave her life for her son. Whosoever reads this and it is on his/her heart, please pray for your sister Ellen in Germany that she may be able to let go and go to heaven in peace that God will take care for her baby and the whole family. And please also pray for the family! Please pray that there will be a woman willing to be a mother to these children! Thank you for reading and praying!

Oh, so sorry. I’ll be praying for this family. What an amazing thing Ellen did to give her life for her baby. Praying for them!
I love it! 🙂
Now I am going to so enjoy your blog with this puppy growing up here!
Adorable!!!
