… And Some Things You May Not Know
I tried to include some pictures you may not have seen on the blog this year, so enjoy! I’m only listing a few things per month, as I could write a page about each month’s activities.
January. We celebrated my birthday, postponed John’s due to his traveling, went ice-skating (Nathan and Melanie’s Christmas present), and I started Colorado with the Moodys outline.
February: We celebrated John’s birthday, recorded product videos, and received the exciting news that Joseph and Elissa were expecting.
March: Mary graduated from high school, spring temperatures felt delightful, we launched Titus2 product videos, Lydia was born, and we had a “thank you Mom/Teacher” celebration trip to the zoo.
April: Ahhh. Spring! More projects and celebrating Resurrection Sunday.
May: We enjoyed more indoor and outdoor projects (including Jesse finishing a stand up desk, Mary decorating a wall in the living room, and Joseph pouring his back patio), Sarah launched a Kindle giveaway of Summer with the Moodys and made it in the top 100 free Kindle books on Amazon, and we had multiple family celebrations.

June: This month found Sarah editing her book with the finish line in sight. More celebrations. 😉

July: We had a great 4th of July, my aunt sent a beautiful graduation quilt to Mary she made, more family times, Dad shaved his beard, and Lolly the clown made her appearance.
August: We pulled off Mom’s surprise trip to Colorado, and I sent my book to the copyeditor! Mary and Mom both celebrated birthdays in the amazing Colorado mountains.
September: Mary sketched for Colorado with the Moodys, we went on a ministry trip, and GiGi broke her ankle.
October: Calia arrived, we celebrated Jesse’s birthday late, Anna’s birthday on time, my book went to the printer and was completed, the family pulled off a surprise “congratulations on the Moody Series” party, and Dad wrapped up his Business Jump Start course.
November: We had lots to be thankful for as the year wound down, including news of Christopher and Anna Marie’s new baby. The girls also put together many gift shoeboxes for children.
December: What a wonderful way to end the year, with more family times, Christmas surprises, Mary, Joseph, Elissa, and Calia taking a trip to Denver for Operation Christmas Child (report coming later!), and celebrating Jesus’ birth!
We are excited to see what 2016 has in store. Happy New Year!
Love,
Sarah for the rest

Happy New Year to a beloved family.
Somehow I missed your ministry trip. I had no idea you did a missions trip in 2015. Where did you go to, and what mission group did you work with? Supporting them in what way? Very exciting.
This coming summer I am going on a mission trip to Kenya where I will be teaching sewing skills, on a sewing machine. to girls wanting/needing to learn this skill to support themselves as prepare to leave the orphanages they have been living in. I am feeling very blessed to called to do this.
Blessings, Mrs. Mari

What a great year! I have really enjoyed your posts from Colorado each year since I’ve been reading your blog. Glad you got to go again this year. I have been so intrigued that I am now planning a summer 2017 trip. I can’t wait to feed the chipmunks!!
Thanks for the news and pics.
