Keeping Our Children’s Hearts | Redesign

We’re launching the redesigned Keeping Our Children’s Hearts book. When the book was first written, Nathan, Christopher, and I were the only adults. Now, everyone is over 18, so Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary wrote their testimonies on what it was like growing up in a home where our parents kept our hearts. Joseph did an amazing job with a cover makeover. If you already have the book, give that copy to your friend, and purchase a new copy for yourself.

You don’t want to miss out on this very special edition!

Since we’re in the specials’ mood, if you purchase three Keeping Our Children’s Hearts you get them for only $33, making them just $11 each instead of $13.95. What better Christmas gift than the gift that could make an eternal difference in your friend’s home?

Three Broken Ankles!

One thing I love about little kids is to hear them retell news (that you already knew) in their own version. The other day, the little girls and Andrew had dropped over with Nathan, and as Christina was whizzing around me on her bike she was telling me this story.

She said, “Aunt Anna, did you know that Gigi fell down the stairs and broke THREE of her ankles?!”

She continued dramatically telling me about all that was going on with Gigi, while I sympathized with all that had happened.

I then asked her, “Tina, how did she break three of her ankles if she just has two?”

Tina said, “Well, she just did.”

Pretty sweet—a little three-year-old couldn’t quite comprehend that Gigi had fallen and broken three bones IN her one ankle!

Gigi is now recovering and learning to hop on one foot with her walker. It is a blessing to be nearby so that we can go over and help her.

Serving Jesus,
Anna

Sarah’s Book Announcement: Monday, October 19th

Stay tuned. Monday morning, October 19th, I’ll be revealing my newest book.

I can hardly wait. I started the project soon after the new year, and I’ve poured my heart into it over these past months. Monday will be here soon. I’m so excited.

Love,
Sarah

More Calia Pictures!

I enjoyed taking some natural light photos with Calia yesterday afternoon. She’s such a sweet little girl and very cooperative for getting in position!

We didn't end up having time to do this the other day. I guess it's our signature photo, so I really wanted to capture it.

Calia Maxwell’s Newborn Pictures

Saturday afternoon, Christopher took Calia’s pictures. There’s something positively adorable about newborns. It was a joy to help him as we worked to get family pictures along with photos of Calia.

Headband idea implemented and carried out by Anna Marie. She took the bow off Bethany’s flower girl dress and put it on a headband.

My favorite! We saw this pose idea online and tried to replicate it.
