Labor Day

We had an immediate family breakfast after working out and Bible time, which was sweet (literally!). Then, we went about our normal activities, including trip preparations for some.

In the evening, we gathered for a big family meal. It’s a merry event, with lots of talking and laughter. In fact, at one point, I noticed there were four conversations going on in the dining room and kitchen area (all open). Plus, with seven little ones underfoot, there is activity galore. Joy!

Love,
Sarah

May we each echo the joy of the Lord today. See this beautiful verse from Isaiah.

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”
Isaiah 61:10

    Thank you. She has her arms quite full right now. Who knows about the future?

  3. I think more and more families do not spend enough time together, so it’s nice to see one that does! Looks like you all had a great time. Lovely sign from Anna Marie. Thank you for the post Sarah!

  4. Hope you had a wonderful holiday!! Anna has some fantastic calligraphy skills. I do handwork (embroidery, etc.), and calligraphy is something I would love to learn. The photos of the little folks are darling, and Christina’s hair is turning blonde like her sisters’. Just precious…

    Love you all!
