As many of you know, we parted ways with our bus last fall. It was so hard to say good-bye to him. He’d carried us thousands of miles and been our home-away-from-home. Yet, he was failing, and ongoing maintenance and repairs were extremely expensive. We don’t know for sure what our method of travel will be, but for now it seems like it’ll be back to hotel days.
We’ve had interest in conferences for this fall (September), but there hasn’t been enough stops to schedule a trip. Obviously without a bus, we need to be efficient in our trip planning and time on the road.
If you’re feeling the Lord leading you to coordinate a conference this fall, please contact us by June 15th. If a trip did come together, it’d probably be for just two weeks, with 2 or 3 weekend Energize! conferences, and Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit mini-conferences during the week. The trip will need to have most evenings/days filled to make it feasible.
June 15th is just one week away before we need to make a decision of fall trip or not. If you feel a heart-tug, please pray about it, and then if you feel the Lord’s confirmation, contact us. We’re happy to be where the Lord has us: at home or on the road!
Love,
Sarah
There’s no secret about it. We love to travel as a family. Each member is part of the team, and when one gets married, everyone else pitches in to cover what they did.
“… that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.”
