The Difference is One Country

Johns-trip-4When John was riding on a small trolley, a little girl who wanted to sell stickers to the passengers, peered in through the trolley “window.” What a heartbreak. ¬†Statistically her future is very bleak.

“… Suffer little children, and forbid them not,
to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14

  1. Truly heartbreaking. Every day I thank the Lord that in the United States my girls are given the opportunity to study, work and make their own homes with complete freedom. My aching soul prays for those who are not granted such basic human rights.

  2. What an amazing photograph! It is quite amazing to see the poverty that people endure. Let us all serve the poor and the children as Jesus did in the bible. I have been meditating on the verse Proverbs 28:27 “Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse”
I hope John as had a chance to help the poor with a servant’s heart and it sure looks like he will have stories to tell.
