We left New Hampshire at 6 am, and it was a rainy, cozy morning. John drove for five hours before he and Dad switched. Dad drove for the afternoon, and then John took another turn. With long distances, having two drivers helps a lot.
We had such interesting scenery: vibrant autumn colors, picturesque farms nestled among rolling hills, streams and lakes, low hanging clouds, and a beautiful sunset.
Most took naps this afternoon, which was very refreshing, as we’ve had a lot going on.
892 miles and 15 1/2 hours later, we are in Boone and are looking forward to our conference Monday evening.
“I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope.”
Psalms 130:5
