We’re staying the night in Denver. Our drive went well today–praise the Lord. We saw our first glimpse of mountains before we reached Limon. Congratulations to John for seeing the first antelope on this trip (a little Maxwell contest thing we do sometimes).
Yesterday’s packing wasn’t without drama. Why? Well. I creamed my hand into a door handle (I know, I know). It hurt so badly and felt unlike anything I’d had before. We decided I needed to go in and get xrays, especially with leaving today for Colorado. I’m very grateful they worked me in. The verdict: no broken bones. I praise the Lord for His gracious protection. And I’m grateful to be with the family today and not dealing with a broken hand. And yes, I’ll try to be a little more careful.
Praising the Lord from Colorado tonight!
Sarah

“Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the LORD.”

Thanks!
Hi Sarah–I’m so glad your hand is okay. You brought back memories of when my daughter, Chelsea, smashed her hand in her brother’s truck door. Oh, how she cried, it hurt so bad!!! Thankfully, hers wasn’t broken either. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing time–I’ll be praying for you all and specifically that your hand heals quickly. P.S.– I’m feeling it might soon be time to get my little acorn salt and pepper shakers out!!!

Thanks! We are having an awesome time ;). My hand is doing well–just a bit sore and swollen. It’s amazing autumn is almost here, so enjoy.
Praying for your trip and hope it’s great. Have fun. Can’t wait to see more pictures. Oooo, Sarah. Youch! That’s good it’s not broken. But you be sure to take care of it!
God bless. Rebecca

Thanks, Rebecca! I’m so glad it’s feeling better. Thursday made me really appreciate having a hand that didn’t hurt when it did ;).
Oh Sarah….bless your heart – – it almost made me hurt just reading about what you did. π But I’m very thankful NO bones were broken, and I’m sure you’re being extra-careful with that hand. π
So glad your family is taking this trip! I’ll continue praying for you all and look forward to photos.
Love, Mrs. Patti
