Summer Picnic

You couldn’t get a more perfect-Kansas “summer” day–with crisp blue skies, puffy clouds, a gentle breeze, and a temperature of about 80–for an auntie/nephew/nieces’ picnic. Anna was watching the little girls as Nathan and Melanie had an appointment with Drew in Kansas City (which went fine).

  1. Joyanna is definitely a crust last eater! I teach her, “everybody eats ends.” 🙂

I have the same dress as Christina. – Alanna

Alanna–those are great dresses, aren’t they?

  2. Beautiful pictures! I love how happy the grandchildren/nieces/nephew looks in all of your pictures-you can just see their eyes sparkle with happiness when they spend time with you, the uncles, or the grandparents. It’s refreshing to see a family who spend time together and enjoy it too! My husband and I are praying our future family (twins due in October!) will be the same, Lord willing :). What a great example! God Bless you all!

By the way, I love your flats in that one picture Sarah! Mind I ask you where you got it? 🙂

Congratulations on your twins! How wonderfully exciting. That’s so awesome. The flats are Keens Rivington Ballerina CNX. So comfy!

  3. Great family pictures. I love seeing the joy through the eyes of the children.

our weather here has been exceptionally warm and delightful. Tomorrow night I am going out of Zak’s sailboat with him and some of my book club friends.

    Blessings, Mari

I am happy to! I love taking pictures and sharing them with y’all.

  6. Sarah, I have also admired those same shoes in the past! It seems that we share a similar style in footwear 🙂
Precious picture of little Joshua and Ruthanne – Joshua is only a few weeks older than my own firstborn, and we are patiently awaiting the Lord’s perfect timing for our second bundle of joy. We so look forward to the blessing of more children and of siblings for our little son, if The Lord wills.
Beautiful family, thank you for sharing this time with us 🙂

Glad you like the shoes. I’ve enjoyed them. Children are a blessing, and I pray the Lord blesses you with more very soon!
