We celebrated Joshua’s birthday at the park with pizza and cupcakes. It was a wonderful summer evening. The children loved playing on the playground and running to their hearts’ content. Sweaty smiles and birthday songs floated around as Joshua blew out his candles. He was quite delighted with the whole evening, and his cute giggles were a delight to everyone. He loves Gigi’s “lawn mower” and was pleased to take it for a spin.

Happy Birthday, Joshua! He is so cute. I have boys and know all too well how much they love anything with wheels and throwing rocks into water (well, into anything really, but I had to train mine to ONLY throw into water!). Looks like a lovely party. I’ll bet he felt very special.

First of all I can’t believe that Joshua is 2 years old. It seems like you had just announced he was born like two days ago.
Secondly I am pea green with envy at those folks like Joshua who were born in the summer time and can celebrate their birthdays in the great outdoors like Joshua can in the park. Having been born in October, October 12 to be exact, it is too cold for me to get to have my birthday in such a nice location.
