Happy Birthday, John! We are grateful God gifted you to our family, and we delight in your life.

Facts about John:

  • Before John was born, we studied John the Baptist (see John 1:1-36 as an example). Dad and Mom decided John would be the baby’s name if he was a boy, and he was.
  • He loves the Lord Jesus.
  • He can drink a strong, black cup of coffee, with no sweetener whatsoever (gulp!).
  • He is a practical, very handy, fix-it guy. If John can’t fix it, you’re in trouble.
  • He is a hard worker.
  • He loves to help others.
  • He is a gifted troubleshooter.
  • John is a master at mudding, sanding, and caulking.

    What a blessing to have someone like that in the family! Every family should have a handyman/Mr fix it. And a straight,black coffee with no sweeteners? I would of thought he would look a bit like a Deer staring at headlights. 😉

    I hope you are enjoying your day. I never learned to drink coffee any other way but straight black. When I get dressed-up coffee, I get a latte from Starbucks, but that is a huge treat. If you get the chance, their blonde roast coffee is really good.

    Maxwell family- just want to let you all know what a blessing your family has been to me! My mom has been following your blog since it began, and has used your family as a roll model many times! (I have,in fact, heard “now what do you think Sarah Maxwell would l do in _ situation” once or twice(or to be truly honest-several times!))
    I know your 2014 itinerary isn’t completed yet, but do you have plans to be in East Tennessee this year? I have never been able to attend one of your conferences and was just wondering what this year may hold as far as that goes.It would be wonderful to meet you all. I will keep checking your schedule listings!
