It was a joy to host our third annual autumn ladies’ brunch last Friday. We had been anticipating this special time of fellowship with our neighbors, and we had a delightful time. Mom once again asked each of us to share a highlight of the past year. This allows us a sweet opportunity of reflection, and I find I learn more about others when they share from their lives. There was much laughter and joy as we talked.
Our menu was:
- Breakfast Casserole (potato/cheese)
- Pumpkin Muffins
- Cinnamon Rolls (thanks, Mrs. J.)
- Filled Strawberries
- Warm apple pie
- Snickerdoodles
- Hot apple cider with cinnamon and cranberries
We missed some of the ladies (including AnnaMarie & GiGi) due to illness and doctor’s appointments.
Maybe you would enjoy hosting a neighborhood ladies’ brunch this winter. 🙂
Joyfully His,
Sarah

The menu sounds very yummy and festive. Looks like a lovely time with the ladies..
Ah!! That looks like so much fun. 🙂 What a blessing to those receiving the hospitality!
No photo of the breakfast casserole? I wanted to see that one — potato and cheese sounds good. Like hashed browns and not more egg-y? I’m intrigued. Those strawberries looked good too, especially this time of year. Yum.
Would love the breakfast casserole recipe! Sounds wonderful, what a blessed time!
Looks like fun! I wonder, have you ladies ever thought about publishing a cookbook? Your food always looks wonderful, and you eat very healthy. I’d buy one for sure!

Thank you. Who knows?
This is such a wonderful idea! The food sounds (and looks) so yummy, and everything looks lovely. I’m sure it was a delightful time of fellowship. 🙂
Love, Mrs. Patti
How do you invite? Are these ladies you know or do you just send invites to every lady on the street? Sounds fun. Not sure my husband would approve though. He’s not much on strangers. I don’t do well either but would like to change that
Blessings,
Johnna

At first those we knew and then expanding to others. The invitations have been cards in the mail.
