18 Hours and Counting

We’re excitedly preparing for our trip to Colorado. We’re looking forward to lots of special family times, not only hiking but also in our cabin. I personally can’t wait to smell the pine trees, breathe the fresh mountain air, hear rushing water, see rugged mountains, and yes, scale fourteeners (mountains over 14,000 feet).

Today, Jesse stocked up our friends who ship for us while we’re away. We’re grateful to the C family for taking over our shipping while we’re gone on trips (which is often!). They keep the Titus2 orders moving.

It has been overwhelming to see the response to our new books. I feel that my parents’ new book, Making Great Conversationalists, is so key. One day, I was taking an order over the phone, and the mom shared how excited she was about that book. It had been on her heart that this was a need in her children’s lives. A few weeks ago, she went to a bookstore, and asked an employee if there was something to learn how to hold a conversation. The man browsed around his bookstore but didn’t have anything. Then, not long after, this mom heard about our new book and was thrilled. Praise Jesus! We pray the Lord brings fruit from this book in lives.

I also received a sweet letter from a Moody reader. He said it was the best one yet.

Joyfully His,

Lots of food to pack!
And tubs to pack…
And things to work through and freeze…
And more food…
Things are everywhere, but they’ll soon be loaded!
Hiking shoes, CamelBaks, and so much more to pack…
The joys of working through personal packing…
And making sure the air mattress doesn’t have a leak.

“He watereth the hills from his chambers:
the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works”
Psalms 104:13

  1. Oh! It’s Colorado time of the year. Escape this heat for a while. I hope Christopher and Nathan’s families are getting to go as well. I will be planning a trip out there next year and definitely want to be close to St Elmo so we can feed the chipmunks.
    Praying for safe travels

  2. I hope you enjoy your what some would call a vacation.

I bet those cheeky chipmunks are looking forward to being fed!

    Y’all deserve a rest.

    Love and Blessings
