Dad’s Party

We had a special day celebrating Dad’s birthday on Wednesday. He is such a blessing to each one in our family.

Dinner was taco salad and dessert was pumpkin pie. After cleanup, we moved into the living room. That room turns into quite the center of activity, with toys scattered all over, happy chatter from the grandchildren, and several conversations from the adults going at once. Most of the toys we saved from when the younger five were little, and it’s a special treat for all four.

We had family Bible time and afterward Dad opened presents.

Joyfully His,

  1. Mary, you did such a great job on the door! It’s so creative and fun. 🙂 I love it.

Abby’s iPhone cover is so sweet. She did a wonderful job. Such a fun party it must have been . . . but now my sister and I are craving pie after seeing those pictures. 🙂

    The pie was great!

  2. Great art Mary. Can’t wait to see some of your art in childrens books someday.

That was very sweet of Abigail to make the phone case. I’m certain GrandPa is very proud of it.

Enjoy seeing pics of your gatherings.

    Blessings,
    Johnna

Thank you. My regards to your father.

  8. Kerri-Ann, I live in Victoria and we buy our pumpkin pie from Costco. There are also several recipes on the Internet and check to see if there is an American grocery store near you too. (Although they can sometimes be quite costly)
